Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Shelton Hawkins Owner | CEO of Hawkins Famous Fish and More has come from very humble beginnings. Raised in a two parent home of hardworking parents, he was inspired by his family's Southern roots and their love for dishing up some of the most savory homestyle cooking.

Over the past 30 years, Shelton has been a chef in multiple capacities. Working at significant franchises, family restaurants, and catering in high volume fast, paced kitchen environments. Shelton has always had a drive for serving others.   

 

What seem to first start out as a chore turned into more of a passion as he matured and began to dive in the culinary arts. At a young age, Shelton knew he wanted to take the Hawkins legacy to another level. With all his past knowledge & skillsets, this has encouraged him to step out on faith and attain his true dream as a Chef today.
